Build a questionnaire
This content is a draft and will not be included in production builds.
A questionnaire is a set of questions you send to the people in a project. This article shows you how to start one and fill it with questions.
- Open a project. In the menu, select Questionnaires.
- Select New questionnaire.
- Choose a template to start from, or select Start from scratch.
- Type a Name, and then select Create & open builder.
- To add to the questionnaire, select Add block or section in the outline, below your questions, and then choose one:
- Question asks your client for an answer.
- Content block shows text and asks for nothing.
- Section groups questions and ties them to rooms.
- For a question, choose its type, such as Short text, Single select, or Image rating.
- Type your question on the card in the middle. Under Settings on the right, turn on Required if your client must answer it.
- Select Preview to walk through the questionnaire the way your client will.
A new, empty questionnaire also shows an Add a question button in the middle of the page. It takes you straight to the question types.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- Your changes save by themselves. You’ll see “Saving…” and then “Saved” at the top.
- The questionnaire stays a Draft until you publish it. Nothing locks before then.
- Publishing locks the questions. After that you can still change wording, but you can’t add, remove, or reorder questions. To change more, select Duplicate in the three-dot menu and work on the copy.
- When it’s ready, see Send a questionnaire to a client.
