Read a household profile

This content is a draft and will not be included in production builds.

When a project has 2 or more people, the household profile compares them. We write it from what each person shared, once 2 people have a profile. This article shows you where to find it and how to read it.

  1. Open the project. In the menu, select Overview.
  2. Start with People. Each person has a card, and selecting a card opens that person’s own profile.
  3. Read Compare by theme to see who wants what. Its tabs are Priorities, How they live, Watch-outs, Style, Materials, and Features.
  4. Read Household facts for what they shared about their home and how they live.
  5. Read Where they differ for differences you can honor on both sides, and Tensions to navigate for the ones where a single choice can’t please everyone.
  6. Read Check before you design for what to settle before your first concept.
  7. Select a statement in any of these sections to see the evidence behind it. A panel opens, and Where we’re seeing it shows what each person said.
  • If you see Build the household profile, select it to write the profile from the current people.
  • If a notice says new answers came in, select Refresh profiles.
  • A project with one person has no household sections. Overview shows that person’s profile.
  • To give the household a copy, select Export PDF at the top of the page, choose what to include, and send the file yourself. The button shows once the household profile is written.
  • These never go in a PDF: Where they differ, Tensions to navigate, Check before you design, and anything marked Only you see this.
  • To read one person’s taste in detail, see Read a style profile.
